I excelled at English at school and spent a great deal of my childhood with either my nose in a book or a pen in my hand.<\/p>\n<p>I had a couple of articles and poems published in small press magazines but it was not until the late 90\u2019s that I started to write professionally.<\/p>\n<p><i>For Women<\/i>, an international, up-market magazine, featuring well-formulated erotic fiction for women, published two of my pieces. A story in the award-winning short-story collection, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0940208369\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0940208369&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=templumkabbal-20\"><i>Herotica 7<\/i><\/a> shortly followed.<\/p>\n<p>The early noughties found me writing non-fiction; short travel pieces for <i>Living History<\/i> <i>Magazine<\/i> and articles for <i>Lancaster Today<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2006 I was awarded an MA in Creative Writing from Lancaster University. My book, <i>Gods I Have Known<\/i>, was developed from my dissertation.<\/p>\n<p>In the summer of 2013 I became a co-director of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.magickaschool.com\">Magicka School<\/a>; an on-line organisation, developed to provide trustworthy, occult and esoteric training, particularly in the subjects of Wicca, Paganism, Magick, Kabbalah and Alchemy. As part of that role, I took on the development and editorship of the School magazine, <i><a href=\"http:\/\/issuu.com\/tarotprofessionals\/docs\/portal_1_march_2013_launch_issue\">The Portal<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>I live in the English Lake District with my husband, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Marcus-Katz\/e\/B007AOFYB4\/ref=ntt_athr_dp_pel_2\">Marcus Katz<\/a>, who is also an author.
